11. What exactely is the 'buffer'
The buffer represents the time difference between the fireing of your bid and the end of the auction.
E.g. a buffer of 3 means that your bid ist placed 3 seconds before the end of the auction.
If the buffer is set too high (>15 seconds) other bidders still have the chance to outbid you manually.
Otherwise if the buffer is set too low, your bid may not reach the ebay system in time (e.g. if network
load is very high or your auction ends in a time of hight load of the ebay system, e.g. sunday afternoon)
We recoomend a buffer size of ca. 4-7 seconds for normal bids.
In the main auction times (Sundays from 18:30 to 21:00 Uhr ca. 10-15 seconds.)
